Issue 189. Four years before the magazine ended. Founder Shoichi Aoki closed FRUiTS in February 2017 after 233 issues, stating there were no more cool kids to photograph. The magazine ran from 1997 documenting Harajuku street fashion, each issue a record of looks that existed once, on that specific day, on that specific person. This issue has no digital equivalent. The archive was never fully digitized.
